If you have some down time over the holidays and you are not relaxing on the beach somewhere, try watching some Christmas movies in English. Here are two of my favorites:A Christmas Story:1. Question #2: kidding, it is similar to joking.Im not sure I understand your confusion on Question #7. We use past simple for when something happened in the past. The bell rang. We use present perfect to connect the past and the present. In this clip there isnt a reason to connect the past to the present. Let me know if you have any confusion over this.
